Aquatherapy

Jersey Rehab has driven its therapy program into the 90's and the year 2000 with the latest techniques.

This includes a full service therapeutic exercise pool.

Our aqua therapy unit is staffed by certified aquatherapists specialized in retraining patients with various disease processes, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disorders, spinal cord injuries and hip and knee replacements.

Our therapeutic pool is maintained at the optimum temperature and p11 settings to maximize all therapeutic exercise focusing on those anti-gravity techniques initially discovered in the early 1960s by NASA.

Our pool maintains a therapeutic "Counterforce Jet" for those higher level therapy patients such that active swimming against the current may be maintained in a stationary position.
